Tokyo: Day 2

THURSDAY, May 3

Day 2, we went to meet up with May Ching and Joyce at 目黒 (Meguro) and later catched up with James at 西小山 (Nishi Koyama) to put their stuff at the Students' House there. Again this time James had some difficulty locating the house. But in end, we managed to locate it.

秋葉原 (Akihabara)
just look at the number of people there (the road was closed)
Then the next stop is 秋葉原 (Akihabara) a place where you can get just about everything on electronic stuff. It's just like Low Yatt Plaza back in Malaysia. But this is far far larger and there are more choices. There, we also met up with Min Ley, Sim and Mingrong. Later, we went back to Shinjuku and I got my new digital camera here. The model of my camera: Sony Cybershot DSC-T100.
the new digital cam I bought: Sony Cybershot DSC-T100
It seemed that this model is still not available in Malaysia! This black coloured gadget cost me 37800yen (around RM1300) excluding the memory card, the lense protecter and the case. But after some discounts, those 3 things cost about 6560yen (around RM220). So it totals up to around 45000yen (RM1500). Enough on those calculations! It was pretty boring to go through all those figures, isn't it?
the screen of this cam is kinda wide, which I prefer
We had our dinner at 吉野家 (Yoshinoya) which was introduced by Hao Wei coz the food seems to be at a reasonable price, tastes okay and quite worth it. And after that, we headed back to Hazama. And as usual, here goes the remaining pictures from Day 2. (I took those pics with my phone, so the quality might not as good as usual). Anyway, enjoy! ^.^
新宿 (Shinjuku)
and the people in Shinjuku are even more
skyscrapers can be seen as well
a big clock at Shinjuku
the size of KL Sentral is no where near Shinjuku Station
coz the people there just can't stop coming in and going out from the station
We planned to go to Yokohama tomorrow with the others from 小山 (Oyama) by meeting up at Shinjuku Station. This Saturday, there'll be a gathering among the Chinese students in Japan. The gathering will be at National Olympics Memorial Youth Center in 代々木 (Yoyogi).
