This is a notice being pasted in the toilet of my hostel and it's written by one of the Japanese student. You might be thinking that I'm trying to correct his English.
But NO, I'm NOT going to do that. For now, at least.
The notice was pasted (upper left side of the pic) inside this small toilet and is still there until now. But, I wonder if anyone will be washing their hands and legs inside the toilet with a limited space available. I don't think so, do you? But why the heck did they put that notice in the toilet?
these are the buttons available at the side of the toilet bowl - canggih ler!
Unless they wanted to use the blue spray button to wash their hands and legs. I'm sure you will never do that since that button is for some other nature-call reliever purpose. Still blur? Then, let me explain it to you in a more direct and straight forward language. That omega-like sign is of course the spray that will shoot straight into your asshole when you press it after you've finished with your business!
Just out of my curiosity, have you ever cross around any signs like above that doesn't really make any sense, especially in countries like Japan? But I know Beijing will always tops the chart when we are talking about Engrish!

suwan: where are you going to wash you hands and legs in that toilet? there's no water source in it.
unless you're going to press the blue 'spray button' and expects the water to shoot out. but that button is of course for other ehhemm... purpose!
by the way, hands and legs can be washed at the washbowl outside the toilet.
erm...in my hostel...the floor never become wet even inside the toilet...
coz we even wear our cloth slippers to go into toilet...

u know if u click that spray or bidet button,the water can actually reach outside the toilet!!(no idea how to say the mangkuk tandas)
let me tell u the experiment steps.
1st,you put ur hands on the seat.(the seat has sensor and knows if ppl want to use it!!)
2nd,let go ur hands and quickly click the spray or bidet!
I tried it once and I think it's the 1st time the floor in toilet become wet!! LOL

We have it a lot weird signs in Malaysia.. probably not weird, but funny especially road sign.. there are so many that I see in the Star newspaper
ns29: you can hardly find a wet toilet in japan. but the case is quite different in my hostel, particularly at the floor where all the foreign students is placed. we are the ones who is responsible for the wet floor.
seriously, i've never thought out doing such an unthinkable experiment before. but now i'm thinking of trying it one day too! hehe...
but then, got to put my hands on the seat, hmm... ちょっと気もいジャン？
dani: yea, we can see them almost everyday in the star. but it doesn't just stop at roadsigns. it's common to spot these kind of mistakes in advertisements, restaurant menus, public noticeboard and even government websites!
but, as i mentioned it already, we'll never beat the engrish from the great wall of china!

Why the heck is there a button for Flushing Sound?? What does that mean? Meaning you can turn on and off the sound of flushing the toilet?! Like you can actually do that for real?? So ngong kui kui!!!! And there is even a volume button - like "Oh everyone is asleep, I should TURN DOWN THE VOLUME of the water flushing..." Digital flushing perhaps???
ngong kui: honestly, i've never tried pressing those flushing sound and volume button before. but since you've mentioned it, i guess i'll try it some day! :)
p/s: can i know who is this if you don't mind?
whoa... interesting... have you tested all the buttons yet? that's what i would do... itchy fingers... hehe
~bee nee~: nope, i haven't tried all those buttons yet. the only button i've been using so far is the blue spray and the orange stop button.
but i might as well try pressing the others one day. hehe...
I dun think Beijing have the best 'Engrish' i have an post about it...but from hainan...
