Happy Birthday, Malaysia

It has been 51-long-years, but we are still far from achieving something we call Bangsa Malaysia.

Or will we ever achieve that in the first place?
Happy 51st Merdeka, Malaysia.

erm not very quite right.

Malaya, Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak were formed into a country we called Malaysia on 13th September 1963. 31st August is just the Independence Day for Malaysia, to be exact Peninsular Malaya.

No???

The true meaning of merdeka is lost in our "merdeka" celebrations. but hopefully this coming 16sept there will be true merdeka. the day where the real malaysia is re-formed, and reformed.

yes, it used to be a celebration for everyone of us, but sad to say, it is no longer like how it was in the past.

yes, but i guess it is widely accepted for us to include other states together as well, when we are referring to her independence on august 31st, 1957 ;)
